Mount Rainer in a nut shell, is not dog friendly, however, you can have an exceptional site seeing drive while camping and hiking the many beautiful dog friendly trails surrounding Mount Rainer National Park.
While dogs are not permitted on any of the trails or inside any buildings, it is still absolutely worth while, to take a driving day trip with your four legged friend. Mount Rainer National Park has many stunning views to offer that are easy to see from the road side. Travel upward to Paradise, to find a very close view of the Mountain and loop back down to see canyons, mirror pools and more!
CAMPING AND HIKING
This part of the world is stunning. There are many great camping and hiking options surround Mnt. Rainer National Park. We recommend La Wis Wis Campground. It is surrounding by lush forest, with trail access and is along the beautiful Cowlitz River.
